Curb Appeal Begin with the outside of your house, better known as your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the outside of your home from a quick glance from the street. What do you notice first? What would've-been-eye-catching characteristics seem hidden?
Knowing this helps us to decide what measures we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your house. If your home isn't at its best on the outside with retouched paint and colorful greenery we'll need to tackle those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and add dollars to your house's final selling price.

"Welcome to your new home!"
Could a buyer envision themselves enjoying game night in your living area, reading a good book in your reading nook or studying in your home office? We want your Open House to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of contentment. We'll help you achieve this by recommending changes that enhance your house's features.
We'll advise you take away pieces that give the illusion of clutter. Table and counter tops should be clutter-free. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' works of art should get moved out of sight. You need to "generalize" the house so buyers can picture it as their new house.
We know exactly what a room's best features are and how to show them off. We'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to get changed, fixtures that need polishing, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively influence the sale.
Buyers want to see a house that seems comfortable. Personal items that could be "loud" should be removed so that your home will impress buyers to buyers.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when to host an Open House, because all of the improvements mesh together to set the stage for what buyers can expect after they choose to buy your house.
Dark rooms can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like open curtains and create light where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests enjoy your home and assure a pleasing aroma circulates room-to-room. We'll incorporate cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your couch and bed. Buyers should feel like your current home is their future home. |
